Meet Chef João Batalha, the visionary behind our delectable custard tarts. With a deep-rooted passion
for pastry and a relentless pursuit of perfection, our Chef brings a wealth of experience and creativity to
every tart he creates.
Trained in the art of traditional Portuguese baking and winner of multiple awards, his expertise shines
through in each delicate layer, infusing every bite with an unparalleled depth of flavor and texture.
Through his dedication and craftsmanship, Chef João Batalha is on a mission to redefine the custard tart
experience and share the love of Natas with enthusiasts from around the globe.
Behind a great chef there is always a great manager.
Nando Duarte, worked for 18 years at a famous international restaurant chain, where he opened more than 150 restaurants throughout the Middle East, Asia and Africa.
His Portuguese heart spoke louder and it was with Nat'elier and his friend Chef João Batalha that he found his way of expressing his love for his country and its traditions. Together they want to showcase the classic Pastel de Nata, and creations inspired by favourite desserts from the world.
